I unexpectedly came into a .22LR revolver this weekend. Brand is Omega, Model 3. Cleaned it up and it seems well-built. I could only find references to an Omega Model 100, which someone said was unsafe to shoot, but anyone have any info on this thing?

Arminius was a German company that started back into business after WWII. The gun you have is a solid frame gun and as long as it doesn't have any serious problems like an out of time cylinder it is probably ok with standard velocity 22s. Arminius made a large range of handgun from the inexpensive through some very nice single actions and larger caliber revolvers. Have it check by a good gunsmith and go with his recommendation as far as it's shooting safety.

It does look like that picture, but it has a black frame and cylinder (sort of like a PVD type of coating). I took it to the range yesterday and shot about 200 rounds through it without a problem, so it seems OK.
