My wallet hates you Boker!!:thumbup:

Any more pics on these knives? I'd like to see them closed position.

Nothing yet, but I have handled protos of the first two, and oh man, good stuff...
More I am waiting for.
Terry

Hahaha! ON the second, I remember posting ages ago (not here) - why not make a hawkbill knife with really large serrations? Still easy to sharpen, and improves cutting of fibrous material :D.

The first one looks pretty cool, like this combination of an M-Type, Emerson, and Manix. Good stuff.

The first two models are based on some exclusive custom versions.

The big folder is designed by Jim Burke and the other knife with the hawkbill blade is from Heavin forge knives from South Africa...

We are very proud to be able to offer these fantastic custom designs!

Could you tell us more about the Resurrection (top one)?

It looks like it has potential to be one beast tank of a knife! What are the liner's like are they thick? How much of the blade tang comes into contact with the liner lock? What is the blade thickness etc. etc.

If I had to choose one I'd go for the Resurrection!:cool:

[Marketing - if you wing one to me I'll do an indepth review of it like my Ak101. I might buy four of them too! ;):D ]

Whoa! New models!

Is it just me or does the overall profile of that "Kalashnikov" sort of looks like a cross between two rifles; an M4's butt stock and the mag for the "guard" plus the carrying handle of an HK G36???

Yes, you are right.

Now that I think about it, in what way does it follow the AK character at all?

Did you notice the bullet shaped thumb hole?

Uses 7Cr17 steel too which is like 440A.

You and me both senoBDEC,

This is why I prefer the SE pattern on my Black MPT. They are rather large, but I have some designs with LARGE arcs...and now look!!!

I told a certain company to make a Hamon on the edge of some of my designs, and now look at what Kershaw is doing. Now, I am talking about telling this company YEARS ago...maybe...what, 5 or 6 years back!

Clear, translucent colored scales...no one listened. Then CRKT comes out with some on their knives, Buck is now doing that.

*SIGH*...

I do like the second one, only because I...well...I like Batman!:p

God bless!

My catalog came today, and I must say I' m really interested in that Jim Burke folder you posted...and the Todd Begg collaborations, and the CLB G4..oh and the RNR.

Gonna be an expensive year:eek: :D

Just a cool FYI on the Jim Burke folder. If I recall, the original custom Ressurection he did had an actual "skull" for an opening stud! I have a pic somewhere but can't seem to find it.

Well, I like the top design and I like hawkbills generally. This hawkbill though is a little too fancy for me. I don't know what practical purpose the waves in the blade serve, but they would make the knife even more difficult to sharpen than a vanilla hawkbill.

Regarding the bottom knife, well, I'm a shotgun guy.
