I walked into my apartment, and i had a package sitting on my recliner... my heart skipped a beat. According to the tracking info, it wasn't supposed to be here until tomorrow

So i got to work. It was hard not to just tear into it right away, but i took a deep breath and got the camera. You only get one chance to unbox the first piece of INFI you'll ever own, and this was mine. I had to have pictures!

Here's the box, and my EDC that got the honor of opening it for me

and SURPRISE, not only was my TGLB in the box, but my Combat Master as well!

This was a good moment. I saw that it was sharpened by Beef, which i had been seriously hoping for.

This was my first view of the blade. I was very surprised. It's much more attractive in person than it was in the pictures. The blade is also wider than i expected. I LOVE IT! The knife seems much more substantial than I was thinking it would be.

Here's the first time she got to have pants on. I was going to go black, but i decided that i might like a little contrast. Turns out it was a very good decision.

So far, i haven't actually HELD the knife. I've been intentionally not picking it up all the way. Just enough to get the sheath on it, and the cardboard off. Here's the first time i held my new friend. It's like it was MADE for my hand!

And there you have it friends. My first piece of INFI... can i be a piglet now?

Maybe some of your puters don't like the links. I'mma fix them... check back in 5 minutes

I can see the pics if I open them in a new window. I'm just thankful that the OP didn't post a youtube video of him opening the box.
Ooooh! I'm biting my tongue hoping that he doesn't get do it now.

I'm really digging the blue/black G10 and black finish.

There are subtleties to this knife that just don't translate to pictures. The handle is ever so slightly angled downward from the line of the blade. It seems like that will make it a much better chopper

the blade finish has a much more intricate texture than you can see in pictures. It's almost like looking at skin under a microscope. It's not uniform, but it's very attractive.

This blade may be lighter than the original TG, but it's got a very nice heft to it. I expected it to be similar to my BK7 in a general sense, but this is a LOT more knife. It just feels tougher in every way.

Awesome, BP, love the blue and black!

As a piglet myself, welcome! At least, having upwards of what, 5 INFI and two kin at this point, i'm hoping i can be a piglet, too.

But i think you have to, like go to a show and shake the man's hand to be a hog... or something like that ;)

Oh, forgot, this is what it looks like naked... having just got the TGLB in CF this afternoon ;)

Indeed. I was worried the TGLB would be a little too light but it is indeed a hefty blade but not clunky feeling either. It feels as heavy as my CS Trailmaster which is no lightweight either. I was also pleasantly surprised just how thick the hollow grind on the TGLB is as well. Nice to see your's was sharpened by Beef as well. Mine was to and it shaves hair!

Congrats, I hope it's everything you thought it would be.
Ha Ha ! Look out because now it really starts.
You better be saving cuz your gonna need more INFI than you have on order.

I'm desperately hoping to get the email soon for my AK, Gladius, and Muk... but after that.... i'm done?

What was the total wait time on it?

I'm about 2-3 weeks in. I told the girls if it's ready before 3 months I'll probably pay mine off and they can ship it. If not, it's 3 easy payments of only $140 for me which is much less of a jolt than $400+. :)

I gotta be honest, I'm hoping retro posts more pics of his blade. I'm loving that CF!

As far as the sheath, it has tags?? Were these subbed out to another company?

Thanks and congrats!!
