Coming home from my weekend away, i stopped by my apartment office to drop off my rent check. I had a package waiting for me... totally unexpected. Had no idea this was on it's way to me

So what's in the pouch??

In my sheath i carry the following

Coast PX25 208 lumen flashlight

Boker Plus Rambler Knife

Leatherman Sidekick Multi Purpose Pocket Tool 2012

Bic Lighter

It all fits nicely, and gives me everything i need in a micro survival kit

i really like the gladius, but i have a feeling that it won't be a permanent addition to my collection. I might be willing to trade it in the future, but i won't know for sure until I get my AK47... i only need one infi sword.

Oh ok. If I might make a small suggestion, that wouldn't take up much space, what about a fresnel lens and a firesteel?

I carry a fresnel in my wallet. It only takes up half the thickness of a credit card and as long as you don't scratch it up it'll last a LOOOONNGG time.

I just like to have as many fire starting methods as possible.

Well crap! i missed something... at the bottom of the box was my Muk.... it is unbelievably sharp... seriously, this thing is just insane...

This one is a keeper for sure. I think my D2 skinner just got bumped out of top position

I think it would have haunted me for life. I like the muk better than the gladius... at least for my personal purposes

The gladius has a top end "cool factor" but it doesn't suit my minimal sword training, and it's going on the block.

I'll probably replace it with either an NMFBM LE or a rifle of some sort.

The AK47 is much more my speed

My SOS DPH got thrown in a dumpster by the cleaning people at work. I was irate. It was even on my desk.. About 45 minutes later I found her after sifting through a few thousand pounds of cardboard, wood with nails in it, and nasty trash. They leave anything close to my desk alone now.

lol... i can take pics from any angle you want. Just tell me your requests, and i'll get em in 9 hours when i get off work

I can't abuse this one, as i've decided not to keep it, but i'll be glad to take lots of virgin pics of it

Wow, love 'em and leave 'em (ok, sell 'em).

Can't believe you almost threw out your MUK!!!

Note to the ladies - maybe put inventory list in the box for "big" orders with "small" blades in it ;)

Note to everyone else, check BPs garbage, regularly :D

hahahaha.... hater ;)

i can't make myself keep something as expensive as the gladius when i can't see it's practical value even in the most zombie filled scenario. My training has all been in Katana/Waki shaped blades... i don't know how to use the gladius, and i already have an AK on the way (might be here today for all i know) so i'm going to sell the gladius to someone who can treat it properly (reads abuse it like it deserves)

On the other hand, if you ever hunt anything, GET A MUK... it might be the most perfect skinner ever made. The flat ground with a zero convex edge is a slicer like nothing else i own.

It came seriously freakishly sharp. I have absolutely no urge to strop it... i know for a fact that i can't improve on the edge that Beef put on it.

Well, if i'd kept going with the wednesday night gladiator training classes down at the arena, i might be looking for one. But i would have to strip it to CF ;)

Can't wait to see the pics of the MUK and later, the AK (hint on the MUK, blue/blk should be cooooolio.)

well, to keep you happy until i get home, here's a pic of a muk identical to mine... i even have a lanyard on it that's similar

Congrats BP!! Too bad you're not keeping the Gladius... How can you train differently if you don't get anything thats different to use? Great looking Muk too!!
