Omni Hunter series

I saw an add for these in a magazine a few months ago, am kinda curious to give them a try, I really like the blade profile.

I'm not a hunter but it looks like the ergonomics of the handle would be good for field cleaning game. Also, as TLC indicated, the blade has more of a sweep than the alpha hunter (or is it my imagination?) and specifically better suited for hunting.

I wonder how it would look if you whupped up a big fat 110-style liner/scales??? :)

"My Big Fat Buck 110"... :D

Ira Woods has the Folding Omni Hunter for $29.50...

But only a 3" blade... :(

That's the "10pt" model. They also have the "12pt" version with a 4" blade:

I'm really starting to like this series.

(Knifecenter has pics with sheaths)

FWIW - anyone, ever looking for a good deal on current production models of Bucks, Larry Oden has always treated me fair and square with the best prices around.

I'd like to echo that sentiment. Larry is a square shooter who is great to work with and offers very fair prices.

The sheaths look kind of cheesy. :barf:

The folder sheaths look adequate I guess, but I wish the fixed sheaths were different. Might be worth making or having a replacement made.

How would one go about placing an order from Mr. Oden??
