Lol! Sorry, brought a roll of knives into work to show some co-workers. Some probably think Im off. All I know is there is still plenty of room in this roll for more knives!

Looks like you've been fdoing good!
I was bidding on that Schrade jack with the chain/ Happy it went to a deserving home.

I don't think you are nuts. I have mentioned before a friend of mine who's father is a HUGE vintage Case collector. He must have dozens and dozens of those rolls full of vintage Case and other knives. The times I was honored and allowed to go through them was when I made up my mind that they DO NOT make them like they used to.

It turned out great, I cleaned it out and now the blades snap (didnt when I got it) , although the main blade has some wobble. The bone turned out marvelous! Probably my favorite knife right now!

How often do the Chain models show up? I cant imagine to many of them have the chain still.

At least for me, they are pretty difficult to find.
the bone is pretty nice@

I love the jigging. I want to send a pic of this to GEC and say "Come on guys, you can do this!" I would love to see more attention to the jigging in modern slipjoints. I wouls absolutely pay more for it!

That's too cool. I concur that GEC could certainly emulate that pattern very well. It just looks like their style.

akadave2: nice little collection there. That old Schrade with the chain is great - the jigging is perfect, in my opinion.

Very cool that one.^
No Soddie?? Loser.
:D

I noticed that too.

And your comment made me snort me coffee out me nose. :D :p
