On a serious note A hero's memorial

Major Thomas C. Griffin who was a crew member on Dolittle's raid will be remembered in the local vetran's park 1/2 mile from my house . I have the honor of paying my respects to a real American hero. There will be a low altitude fly over of a B25 mitchell also only 4 of these brave men left

I saw that in a newspaper just the other day that there were only 4 of them left. Shame. These guys were real hero's of the kind that they make movies about. Their kind does not come along very often, and we are lucky when they do. What they did was militarily unthinkable, yet they did the impossible when the country needed some hero's to lift morale in some dark days.

God bless to them all. There's a reason they are called "the greatest generation".
