Just wondering if anybody has used the CS or Marbles knife, and how it performed? I've been thinking about picking one up but im not sure which is the better. The CS has a little longer blade and is made of AUS6, and the Marbles is 420 but IMO has a better blade shape.
Any info would be great

I've used neither, though just looking at them I would prefer the Cold Steel. It seems to be a little longer through the handle and the wider blade would be--for me--easier to work with, especially since I tend to use my thumb to index skeleton-handled knives in my grip.

Beyond that, I don't see major advantages one way or the other. I would tend to give the nod to AUS-6 over 420 also, but they're in roughly the same performance class.

Cheap as they are, buying both would make sense to me---then use the one you like better and toss the other in a glove compartment or toolbox.

I have the Cold Steel Bird&Trout, and am not particularly impressed. Only a lunatic would put a bead blast finish on a fishing knife. Uggh. Talk about a rust magnet. Other than the horrible finish though, the knife is pretty good.
