I have a NIB Large Classic 2000 in BG42 with Madagascar Rosewood inlay and IM in need of the estimated value. The knife is not for sale just need a value.

I'll affirm that general estimate ($500 +/- 10%), but some days are better than others on the open market. For insurance I'd say $600 to cover yourself, but then a rider on your home policy for collectables can cost you more than that :grumpy: .
