Mates,

Can y'all recommend an on-line resource that details the history of various patterns.

Failing an on-line resource, is there a print version of same?

Thanks in advance,
Chad

Buy the book "Blade's Guide to Knives and their Values" off an online retailer. It is a very comprehensive compilation of just about every type of knife, slipjoint or otherwise.

Or better yet get "Levine's Guide to Knives and their Values" in the fourth edition if you can.

Totally agree with Mike, but the 4th edition costs more than some custom slippies these days.
