On/Scene Tactical Concealex Sheaths! WOW!

Recently, I decided to send a few knives up to Eric Noeldechen at On/Scene Tactical to have him work up some custom rigs. I’m simply stunned (that would be elated!) by the quality, elegance, and functionality of these finely crafted sheaths. These sheaths have been well thought out and I know the work of a “craftsman” when I see one.

Doing business with Eric was a pleasure. He was a professional and a gentleman. His product is an excellent value for the money and I’m outstandingly pleased!

I’ll use this thread to share some pictures and comments. I’ve only had them a few hours, so this these initial two pictures is all I can “throw” together.

This picture is of the SOG Pentagon and gold TiNi CrossCut in Eric’s sheaths.

Here’s the classic, masterful SOG Trident wrapped up in Concealex, by Eric.

Please comment. Ask questions. More pictures will be coming (sheaths I have I can scan are of the SEAL Pup, Recondo, and Mini Tsunami) and I’ll try to get pictures of the back side of one or two. But please note that I have limited in picture capability...these are not images from a digital camera. These are knives and sheaths are laid directly onto my scanner’s glass. So the "picture taking" process is challenging when one only has a small glass surface on which knives are sliding when you want them still...it's a bit of a challenge.

Most importantly here, if more information is what you need, visit Eric’s website at On/Scene Tactical, or touch base with him via phone (off his website) or email. Being the pure gentleman he is, he’ll help you out!

Take care!

Ron,

Thanks for posting the pict of the Trident in the "Eric" sheath!! I have one of those EXCELLENT sheaths on the way from Eric (for MY Trident) that he has converted to "lefty and IWB" for me!...

Here's another picture. This is the TiNi Recondo with a rare (but production model) black TiNi CrossCut...both with corresponding rigs by Eric.

Those looks really nice Ron. Glad you like Eric's work as does everyone else it seems.

You're gonna have to show me those in person when I come visit you one of these fine days.

BTW do you guys actually give tours of the SOG factory?

Sorry, we have a "no tours of the factilities policy" (and it was written with you in mind ;) ), but I'd love to meet with you in our conference room, chat for a bit, and play with any of SOG's "toys" (if you know what I mean). And if I have the time, I'd even go out for coffee with a fellow forumite. A friendly heads up would be appreciated. It might mean that if I have Eric's find handiwork in my home office, I'd bring them back into the SOG office for you to "fondle."

Ron,

By any chance do you have a large picture of the Trident and concealex sheath, with the knife out of the sheath (next to the sheath) that you can post? (I need a good "wallpaper" for my desktop.).

I'll see what I can do over the weekend. I've currently posted all the pictures I've taken. What you've asked might be difficult because of the size limitation of my scanner. But I'll see what I can do. :)

Thanks Ron. Have a GREAT, and safe week-end.:).

PS...The size of the picture above (with the Trident in the concealex sheath) is an ok size, as that one is now my wallpaper, but it WOULD be "nice" to have one with the Trident laying next to the sheath, so both the Trident AND the sheath can be shown.

A "safe week-end"? I'm getting my Z back tonight with all new fuel injectors. You know I'll be testing them out to make sure the fuel is flowing FREELY! :D Weeee! :D

The Trident picture above is not a perfect "frame" for monitors due to the background I used not being tall enough (so the picture's a bit wide for monitors). I really try to have all my pictures be really close to standard monitor sizes. My monitor at home is set for 1152x867 (some number like those...I forget the exact second number).

If I can get both the knife and sheath to be side-by-side on my scanner, I'll make that picture just for you, Dann! Just 'cuz you're a nice guy. Now if Rob asked for a favor like this, that would be a different story ... ;)

Rob would take his own picture, thank you very much!!!:D  It wouldn't post... but I'd have it...

Dann, I do not have an On-Scene Tactical sheath, but I could provide you with a pic or 2 if interested... Name your monitor size, and I will try to accomodate it.

Anything for a fellow moderator;)

Hey Dann,

Is this what you were looking for? If not, it's the best I could do! :)

Alright. Here’s the last three photos to round off the sheaths I picked up from Eric (BTW, his screen name here in the forums is Normark...I’ve neglected to mention that).

This picture is of SOG's Mini Tsumani and gold TiNi CrossCut with Eric’s craftsmanship.

Here's another picture of SOG's Pentagon (this time unsheathed) and the rare black TiNi CrossCut with Eric’s craftsmanship and my Z key & alarm fob.

And lastly...but not leastly...SOG's SEAL Pup and On/Scene Tactical Sheath.

I hope you guys have enjoyed these pictures. Please feel free to keep the discussion going...ask questions...I might post more pictures (I'll have to see).

NOTE: At some point, to save space on the SOG web server, I might pull the large images. So those links might go away.

Take care.

Ron..

Thanks for those Great pics..

Man how do you do that on your scanner..

I've tried and they only come out Grey....

Hey Ron...

Would you mind if I used some of those pictures on my site ???

Thanks

Eric..

Hi Eric,

I had meant to email you with permission to do so. I know they're not "dazzling," but they're not gawd-awful (I'm proud with what I have to work with). Please consider them "public domain" to use as is.

Though I'm a bit limited on backgrounds and abilities, if there is a certain "pose" you want, please let me know. It's not that tough to arrange (giving a few days).

Hey Ron..

Ok,,Excellent...

Those are Great pictures though..

Cripe,,they are better than the ones I take with my digital camera..

Thanks again, appreciate the use of them..

When I receive MY sheath from Eric, I'll post here so you'll have an idea how long shipping should take.
