On schedul 4 blems for 11/19 -- no pix but more great deals.

Blem #1 -- 18 inch 20 ounce Malla by Bura. Usual fine work by the old master. Only thing that put it in the blem box was about five minutes worth of rust at the tip of blade. UBBB at $75.

Blem #2 -- 18 inch two pound Garud Ang Khola by Kumar. Fine work by a fine kami. Problem is 1/2 inch crack in wood handle. A little epoxy with wood filler of same color makes it perfect. Another UBBB at $95.

Blem #3 -- 15 inch 1.5 pound Ang Khola by Sher with all usual Sher features. This khukuri has the white metal handle. It is perfect in every aspect. Due to low demand for metal handles it's marked down to just about 1/2 price. Take it home today for $65.

Blem #4 -- 12 inch 12 ounce Ang Khola by Shanker. Horn handle. Five or ten minutes worth of rust put this one in the blem box. Yours today for less than 1/2 price = $45.

Yangdu is putting up some very good deals lately. But you know the story. When the cat's away......

CTscan completed yesterday. Will talk to doc on 24th and try to figure out what to do. I'm guessing worst case will be loss of left kidney but hoping for something a little better. To dentist today for cleaning. Never ends.

Ah yes, the Malla. A grande design indeed. I like my wood handled Malla--it just seems all the more ancient somehow.
