On sebenza, does it matter which way the washer is?

On a Sebenza or any other CRK, does it matter what side the washer is, like could you flip one over and would it be fine? (im not talking about swapping sides, just turning them over.)

Since the titanium is bead-blasted it has some texture that should grab the washer and keep it from spinning against the titanium. Since it doesn't spin against the titanium the washer's finish should stay the same on that side.
The other side should be constantly rubbing against the blade, slowly polishing the blade side of the washer.
I believe that's the theory.

I don't know if it makes any perceptible difference. Some say it does makes a difference but they must have hands as soft and sensitive as baby's skin.

I have never noticed a difference and I have disassembled and cleaned many of them.

I have taken apart many sebenzas, and honestly never thought about this! In theory, you probably should keep them on the same side. Interesting question, I will check back to see how many of us actually pay attention to the washer direction......

I heard some say keep the polished side towards to blade, but mine is brand new so its not polished yet, i can barely tell.
