I have yet to make a khukri, although I'd really like to. I've got a khukri pattern in my shop that I need to tweak a bit.

Im not sure if the knife is to be a combat style knife or a good work use knife, I tend to favor purpose driven innovation a but more they stylistic driven innovations so you know where im rooted.
One of the many things i like about the khukri is that it functions so well as a Draw knife when working wood to make arrows and self bows, I am worried that the teeth would get in the way of hours of long pull strokes. For me they don't really belong.
With that said ,I cant say that they shouldn't be there, The knife community is full of Knives that I have no use for but others do. I always fear giving opinions as each knife is not only a tool but its also a work of art that reflects the maker and his innovations and ideas, but for me the tool part is first.
