You've got the choice between Spanto & Slicer / Flipper Non-Flipper / 4" 3.5" 3" , search the forum for pics to choose the style you like best, their all very capable of any task.

If you qualify for direct ordering then you may purchase one, not several at a time.

As stated: "We do sell GEN 3 production XM-18's directly to active military personnel and first responders (LEO, EMT, EMS). All other XM-18 sales go through our dealers. Hand ground custom knives are primarily available at knife shows throughout the year. We do not take orders for hand ground customs."

If you order one directly, any other purchases fall behind new buyers.

No, you tell your truthful story to the maker and then a determination to sell "you" another can be made. I'm speculating a bit but that's how I'd go about things.

Not entirely accurate. Multiple sales are based on amount of first-time orders. That's how I read the words in the sticky. So, it may be possible to get a 3.5 and a 24 or 3" if (and its a big if) there's one available after new direct buyers orders are filled.
It's also possible that a second XM might not be available to order for many batches too. That could equate to one a year or one every couple/few years or only one period.

You'll notice that some guys (like a certain YouTube reviewer, who I like hehe) have bought multiple XMs direct, so I doubt it's buy one then get one a decade later when space opens up.
And sheesh. Most of us pay second hand prices, even though plenty of us, I'm sure, could skit the rules if we were so inclined (I still know active duty bros from the Marines, but I would not abuse that). We would love a chance at getting one at retail pricing. That's just not how it works.
Rick cuts LEO guys a killer deal. If you qualify and want one, but one. Hate it? Sell it to one of us and make your money back. It's pretty simple.

Your post is starting to resemble someone who is trolling, if you are legit, I would have imagined that you certainly would have contacted Rob Orlando by now. Yes some of us have got direct pricing and still bought on the secondary market. Your comments are starting to infringe on this sub forum policy about pricing. You use the word ridiculous US dollars, which turns me and Probably many others off. You were given amble advise and references, email address of Hinderer Knives, but no attempt was made by you to contact Rob. Hopefully the moderators will close this thread, I see no more productive communication coming forth.
