How about a Khaki baseball cap? Cooler in the summer, them black ones can fry yur thinkin' unit. :D

With a big IZULA ANT on the front of it and ESEE Cutlery on the back of it.

Have one of the cloth adjustment straps instead of the plastic post and hole things.

I could deal with that! As long as it is Khaki/Tan, light Tan at that. :D

Small Izulas all over would be good as well!

On electric guitar, I am the rough equivalent to that guy on the banjer.

OK, just playing rhythm... :D

I'd take one! Maybe a boonie as well?

100% this.

I had this for years - 100% cotton canvas, no metal anywhere in the hat itself (just in the cordlock on adjuster). Took a hell of a beating, but I lost it when I went in after a drowning guy last year.

I've looked everywhere for one and can't find anything I like that's comparable. Why does everyone have to put friggin metal vents in their hats, or make them from nylon?

yep, or just patches for the boonie hat-so you can pick your own color and just stitch it on.
An embroidered or vintage style patch logo hat would be sweet.

cool hat at decent price. too bad i cant get one....since its "for men"

Order one and take pictures of some of your adventures wearing it. Then send them the photos with a nice "Go to Hell" mail.
They'll change it from "For Men" to "For men and Sadie Jane"!

It's discontinued and no longer available. I've been scouring ebay and the net for 18 months looking for one

you can get hats from tactical tailor and esee patchs from emgear or take your rat pack patch from the shotgunners and make your own hat.

If you don't mind me asking, why the aversion to metal? I've found the brass hardware in the Tilley hats to be quite durable and corrosion resistant.

Maybe it's me, but anytime there's metal in a hat it winds up falling out, getting messed up, rusting, or getting super hot. I like being able to toss the hat in the washer too, without worrying about snaps and crap getting screwed up. It seems like if there's metal grommets or vents, they fall out or get bent up or wind up pressing against my skull somehow... grrr.

I'm picky, I know.

Hey, Cricket Dave.... Thanks man, never knew of that site. Definately get some patches noe!

+1 for boonie

Maybe something along of a mil spec type boonie hat in Tan with brown ESEE logo on the front. Maybe the survival tips on the top of the hat.

I'd buy a couple.
