Well,.... I was in the news today.
Some guy robbed a bank and tried to run from the cops.
100+ down the interstate with a load of cops running lights and sirens.
I was in the center lane passing an 18 wheeler and a couple of cars.
Next thing I see is there is a car coming up fast from behind, not unusual in South Carolina, with a cop chasing. Fast car tries to change lanes between me and the car behind me in the left lane to shake the cop. As he straightens out his back end breaks loose to the right towards me. But he grabs control for a split second just long enough to spin out across the left and center lanes just in front of my truck.
Had just enough time to slam on the brakes and stop without hitting anything, Spent the better part of two hours waiting for the kid to jump off the bridge or give himself up. He chose to jump 50 feet to the ground. He hit some bushes and soft ground, cops walked him to the back seat of a patrol car.
