Hey Everybody......

Sorry to have been absent for so damn long.......It has been a really screwy time since Argentina.....Some good some bad but very distracting..........

i have some great news to share on a personal basis.....Son John and the lovely and bright and talented Megan Scott got hitched a week ago........They tied the knot at the house, in the newly renovated garden and it was a grand time....... We had a slew of house guests ...... Megan's family from North Carolina, and friends from Asheville, Lexington and Portland, OR.......

This week I am headed to Jerry Fisk's house for a Mini Show and a preliminary pig hunt......I am going to stop by Wilson Combat tomorrow(kinda like dropping by heaven) on the way to spend the night with the incredibly knowledgeable Phil Gibbs and the lovely Lola........Gibbs and the Fennells were the ONLY points of light at Camillus.......

Will be back in Vonore next monday in time to get everything together for what looks to be the best Gathering yet.......

I am getting really excited about this fall's shindig.......Look who is coming.....WOW.......

Gonna be fun, lotsa fun....

Congrats on your sons wedding. And i hope you have a fun and safe trip. And i cant wait to see the signed BK2. it will be my treasure forever ! thank you so very much.
 
Congrats to your son and new DIL.... Really bummed I can't make the gathering I'll be out of town though, and I'm hopeful to have a better time then you guys:D

Have fun on the pig hunt. Bring us back some bacon for the gathering. I somehow get the feeling no matter how much we bring, it won't quite be enough!

Congrats to John and Megan too. (I guess it would be kind of bogus to give them "The Book" as a wedding present eh?)

I know I should be using a knife but I intendto stab the pig(s) with a 6.8....... Thanks for the kind words about the newlyweds.......I really think this matchup is gonna be a good one and one thatwill last.....yeah....... Makes me feel good.... Warm and fuzzy too......

Good to hear from you - have fun on the hog hunt.
Very much looking forward to the gathering and a chance to congratulate John & Megan in person.
From what I've seen, they seem to be well matched.
 
I wish I could make it to this gathering but new baby prevents this. So I will attempt to go to the next one
 
Congrats on gaining a daughter! Hope the gathering goes well--I've only been able to attend one of the Beckerwest events, but I hope to head east one of these days....
