Okay, just back from two weeks in Texas, looking at houses. Spent the two weeks with my sister in law's place in Georgetown, and found that I can live very well on a fixed income 'down there.'
While staying with sis-in-law there was some running repairs, as her fella is not exactly a Harry home owner handy man. The little pliers was used to bend some edges on a gutter pipe that was being re-fitted, and the file was used to take down some sharp edges after a bit of trimming with tin snips. A day later, the screw driver was used to fixed a jammed up Venetian blind on a bedroom window. The scissors was used for some light mustache and beard trimming.
The pliers was also used to help arthritic senior citizen fingers with something that 10 years ago I could still pull off. This whole aging thing is getting on my nerves!!!:grumpy:
Only one fail, and it was only a part fail. Beer. Sis-in-law Diane had some nice chilled Mexican beer, and the bottle opener on the squirt had to take like three tries at it. It did it, but with a few assaults on the cap. The bottle opener on the micra seems to work better.
But all in all, the little Leatherman is proving a nice handy little thing to have on hand. I would not have thought so a year ago.
