Well, there I was, all set to drop the hammer on a stone washed CQC-13, when my eyes beheld a Utcom CQC-11 BT. It was love at first sight, so I ordered the CQC-11 instead and will put off the 13 for a few weeks.

I have designated this year as the 'Year of the Emerson' and I will restrict my knife purchases to Emerson only. I figure that I must refine my focus on collecting and concentrate on one brand, while making them all 'users'. It somehow seems unjust to have an Emerson shelf queen. Anyway, pics when she arrives. :)

Heh, thanks, Rolf. I fear that I will be contributing heavily to Ernest's and Mary's retirement fund this year. ;)

I hear that... I'm contributing heavily to the "put Reese's girl through college" fund ;)

Yup, we're quite the lot alright. Well, better the money goes toward the knife community than cheap cars and fast women...or is that fast cars and cheap women? I keep getting those mixed up. :D

Actually, most of my leftover money goes to knives. Knives are one of the few joys in my life, besides marriage, cats, and booze. And the church.

CM--- NO booze!
Nothing like an Emerson. :)

Very true. You can't drink/smoke a knife. The knife will always be there. To my credit, I have reduced my drinking and only smoke my (CA legal) pot before bed. Helps keep the nightmares away.
