The UPS man just dropped this off at the house this afternoon! I liked the knife when I saw it posted on Blade Forums & it's my first Damascus blade. Thanks to TheBadGuy for 'giving me a push' with his recommendation of David Winston's quality of work & his very reasonable prices - I'm hooked!
 
Jason's recommendation of Winston knives seems to be spot on. That is a great looking knife. Random pattern is my favorite damascus and this Random is exceptionally nice.
 
No complaints from me on this little hunter. I've seen plenty of pictures of various Damascus knives but this is the first I've actually held & seen close-up. Mr Winston's use of the whitetail stag is great; fits my hand perfectly with its size, bend & twist - very comfortable. (I've been holding it while I'm typing. :D )
Again, I'd like to thank TheBigGuy for his recommendation of David Winston & I'm sorry to read another Winston creation was taken before TBG could purchase it!:(
 
Yeah I was defiantly eyeing that one and was trying my hand at some sales in the exchange to come up with the loot, but you beat me to it. That would have been my first Stag piece :( I am glad that you listened to my propaganda and went for it though. I got my first knife off of him not that long ago and I was SO impressed with the quality and the price was just plain ridiculously low. So when I believe in something, I tend to preach the word. Clydetz if you do a search in this forum you will find a thread with pics of the one I got from him. You can bet I constantly look for his post in the exchange. Actually the whole reason I came in here and saw your post is I was going to post two Winston Folder pics and see which one people thought to give me an idea on an order:) Take it easy and add my e-mail address to your address book, B/C if you ever need some cash, you can always send that piece my way:D
