I'm starting to run low on the piece I have. It is 30 years old. I got it from a former gunsmith. I don't hand sand anymore. All my handles are finished on the belt grinder with scotchbrite belts. This is the best looking handle I gotten so far with this wood.

Yes, the standard 3/16" thick by 1 1/2" wide.
