With cooperation of my awesome wife and my daughter, I have arranged my affairs so that I am leaving today for South Alabama for several days of fishing and shooting.
So naturally tomorrow's forecast shows 60% chance of severe thunderstorms and possible tornados, up to 80% on Thursday.

Oh, well, I hang my hopes on the fact that the very best day of freshwater fishing I ever had was on a storm front so strong that I had to hide behind a 15 foot bluff from the wind and fish up and down the bank with the bluff. But fishing after a front moves through is a total waste of time around here. So fishing on Wednesday and maybe Thursday, and range time Friday is the current plan.

Historically, my impeccable timing also means that there will be at least one great Company Store offering which will be gone by the time I have PC access again, so heads up to the newbies.

Hey Mike, I hear ya Bro!!! Been there done that. I missed the MUK cause of Medical bills. Say why don't you drop a couple trotlines and then go shooting. At least two things can be done at the same time. I am from Louisiana/Tx and I do know what you mean about weather and I also know about the use of trotlines. Yeh boy fish on!!!

Like they say, "You're worst day fishing is still better than you're best day working".

Go west into Louisiana, on 40% on Wednesday and a clear sky the rest of the week.

Ya - head to Louisiana! Do some jug fishing while you shoot and then get some beer and mud bugs and really enjoy life!! I am sure Jason would be happy to assist!
