Well, it's been awhile since the last Busse tasted my blood, but one of my Tank Busters just graduated to the Do Not Sell list and put a smile on my face... Yes, it gets twice the love now, as it now has a permanent home AND will get to be a user! :thumbup: It's really not much of a bite, but I was checking the edge with a piece of paper and just barely caught the hand holding the piece right below the knuckle.

Here's the feisty TB after the love bite...

Sorry, I cleaned the edge already, but I know the rules!!! Here's the "wound". Really, it's extremely minor...

Anyone who wants to tell me how dull Busse knives are can eat it. ;) This TB cut a small scallop out so cleanly, that I can't find the skin it nipped and I'm still feelin' nothing! :thumbup: Actually, I'm really not sure that the TB actually tasted blood as it took about 15 seconds after to start bleeding...But it still earned a spot in the permanent user collection! :D

So, with the policy I have about keeping knives that taste my blood, this one will stay with me always. :) Does anyone else keep the ones that get'cha? Show 'em if ya got 'em!

Do you need a ride to the hospital? I will only charge a small fee...AD or GW should cover it.
 
I've cut myself with every knife I own, some bad, some minor. One of my worst most recently wasn't even with my own knife. I was convexing my buddies machete and then sanding some rust off... I wish I sanded it before I sharpened it. It bit all the way into my hand in the palm down to bone and cut through the side as well where it hit bone. I should have gotten stitches for sure, because it took a month to heal, but I just kept using super glue.

Great color combo on that TB. The only busse I have that ever cut me is a Hortonized Skinny ASH. The edges Jerm puts on blades are ridiculous! The NMSFNO he modded for me cuts paper more efficiently than my Spyderco Paramilitary, Caly 3 and all of the other knives I have! I love sharp infi.
 
My BATAC did better, it bit my boss, he didn't think it was sharp. But alas I did trade it for ASH-1 CG which I think tried to bite me. Well it shaved off some skin layers, I didn't notice it till much later. I guess I was checking what the darker spots were on the edge and then I must have happened.

The only knife that ever bit me (at least when I was using it) was my leatherman, I was separating two wooden tube like thingies stuck together by the clear finish, and slipped, almost cut off the tip of my left middle finger, went through nail and scraped the bone. Still got a scar. Went to see the university nurse just to see if i dressed the wound correctly (seeing as it was the tip of the finger regular techniques didn't work, so I just put two bandages on top of it and then crap load of medical tape, then put a glove on top of it) anyway, the nurse didn't know what to do and told me to see a doc. But before I got to see him (I only wanted to know if what I done was good enough) They made me fill out sooooo many forms that I just said screw it.

Now that leather man is my emergency medical/surgery kit. The pliers still got some rust spots though from where my blood was. Keeping that baby.
