Some Schrade collectors in Australia; do not look at, or post on the U.S. Forums.
Today, Codger said he wished more Australian Collectors would post some of their collections; here!
I will start posting today; Come-on Aussies Come-on, post your SCHRADES.

and a few more from Downunder...the actual 2OT and 3OT knives photographed and used in Sargents 2nd Edition...originally owned by Herman Williams..still holding hands together as they did in the Schrade Conference Room Wall.....Hoo Roo

the bone 8OT from circa1959 is not in its original box however it is in a contemporary box from the period 59/61....there is also the original Schrade Cut Co with the jigged bone handles and shield, which was the predecessor of the 2OT from 1959.....Hoo Roo

There will always be part of the unique U.S.A. Schrade legacy in Australia......compare all these beautiful knives which have stood the test of time... I wonder if the Chinese garbage clones will still be around some 60 years after manufacture....?.....Hoo Roo

I'm glad to announce another Australian collector has started to show, arguably one of the best Schrage collections anywhere in the world.
Larry, I started this post, because Codger said he would like to see more Aussies using Blade forums.
The "Schrade Old Timer" name was a trusted name in Australia. The 8OTs and 34OTs were very highly regarded tools-of-trade in the Australian Out-Back.

Aussie Bos'n- Grateful to see some very special items you have shown. And I really like the maritime knotwork- right out of Ashley's!

Please do continue the picture show as your collector mates allow. Even though I have seen nearly all of the patterns and variants before, and at one point or another owned most of them, I never tire of looking at them. Or how the collectors display them.

I am reminded that I have a stack of half a dozen factory oak frames that I have never filled. I may well have enough Sharpie variants to fill them now. Perhaps I will get a round tuit before long when I am more assured that no one with sticky fingers will pilfer them.

...nearly enough Schrades' to open a Downunder Schrade Museum of our own!.......some of these currently in Australia of course really belong in the new Warwarsing Knife Museum.....as Collectors we are all only temporary custodians of our respective knives.....although I'm planning on wrapping a couple of mine in an Asbestos blanket and taking them with me, while I receive my heat treatment......!..lol...might need to peel an apple 'Down' there ...........Hoo Roo

DOwn there? In Australia I assumed it would be "up there". I'll have to review my Rolf songs to be sure.

Codge...you can't get much further 'Down' there, than being in 'Hell' Downunder Oz.......there's only the South Pole below us....then Hell.......I don't anticipate I will go 'Up' there.....I don't really look good in white Lycra and wings anyway.....Hoo Roo

Somehow never pictured you in spandex and feathers. Probably for the best, what?
