Once you go Bark River, you'll never go back! (Stropping compounds)

I can't believe how fast these compounds cut compared to other brand compounds. With the speed that I can get my knives sharp from black to green to white, it feels more like sharpening than it does stropping. For anyone who doesn't know, Bark River compounds progress in grit from black to green to white (not the usual black to white to green). I'll probably use nothing but this for a while.

What medium do you use it on? I heard it's hard to apply to leather.
