Once you've added someone to your ignore list can you hide your posts from them

A few weeks back I had a disagreement via email with a member, it wasnt a big deal, it didnt stem from a transaction- some people just don't get along.

I added the guy to my ignore list, I don't bad-mouth him in any way but I had another member I'm friends with PM me and tell me I needed to respond to his badgering of me in open forums so I clicked the "view this post button" on the offending posts and my buddy was right, the guy is going around to my recent posts attacking me.

I've managed to not respond to his banter but its a little rediclous this guy is acting like a 6 year old, is there any way I could be added to his ignore list? Or any other way I could prevent him from readin my posts? Again I'm not in any way looking to talk crap about him, I'm more than happy to ignore him, but like I said he's following me around and pretty much calling me names and trying to instigate problems even tho I don't even see his posts anymore.

I'm so sorry to have to ask such a question, I know its childish, I just can't believe the situation and am appalled its gotten so bad that other, not involved parties are now lookig at me for a response his comments are so bad, I won't stoop that low, I just don't like the fact that he continues to pick on me over a stupid Internet disagreement.

If there's no way for me to block my posts from him on my end could I somehow (either by an admin or at the request of an admin/mod) get myself added to his ignore list? I'm not at all looking to call him out publicaly or get him in any sort of trouble, I just don't want to continue to be bad-mouthed and not be able to respond, honestly I'm tryin to be the bigger person, how would you feel if you were in my position? I'm the one trying to avoide the situation like a mature forum member.

The best thing to do is report his trolling posts, he'll get infractions and stop or eventually get banned.

You didn't finish the final step to the "Ignore" feature. Ignore the offending individual. :D

He's choosing his words very carefully, to the uninvolved it looks as if it could be at anyone but the few of my friends who know about the issue, as well as myself all reconize it as trolling. If/when I report the post should I just hit report or should I give a little description (and/or a link to this thread)?

I tried to ignore him and was doing a good job of it, but again one of my good friends from the forums sent me a PM saying I needed to defend myself...

Only you should decide that, and not your friend. I like letting the ignored individual think I am really ignoring them (I am), even when I sneak a peek at their rambling. :D

So if you ignore someone, make sure you follow through with it.

That's right. Ignore him. The Ignore List is there to help you, your friends aren't helping.
If they were to add him to their Ignore Lists now *** ** * the sound of happy crickets * ** ***

Ok I get it, I need to drop it, but am I wrong for not wanting to be bad mouthed? He is literally commenting on every one of my posts... Calling me a fool and literally coming after me, not just every once in awhile when he comes across a post of mine, he's literally watching for me to post and immedentally digging in...

Its dropped, I won't bring it up again and I won't "sneak a peak" at his blocked posts in the future, but am I that wrong for wantin to protect my name? It is afterall very recognizable. What happens when I upgrade to a custom maker's membership to begin selling stuff and then someone random searches my posts and see's this guy bad mouthing me and makes a decision about me based off his nonsence post?

If it's something that bothers you and something that can be seen with out being ultra cryptic then just report the post.
