One blade gets the Axe. Help me decide.

I have two blades that are possible candidates for the exchange section, to fund other addictions. They both fetch very different dollar amounts, and have different "coolness factors" but either one would cover the amount needed. Please help me decide which will get the axe. Both will be, (would be) users so I'm looking for opinions based on that more so than from a collector stand point( they are pristine though). I'm looking for general HOG wisdom.

1. Busse Ruck - tan micarta/desert camo blade

2. Swamp Rat Waki - Tan micarta/black blade
 
Tough call brother. I've never handled a Ruck but want one hard. The Waki is great though. I guess it would depend on how many $$$ I needed for said other addictions.
 
The Waki imo..If you sell the Ruck, you will probably have a heck of a time getting another in the future should you decide you want one. The Waki will probably be a lot easier to replace if/when you decide you want to.















And I would sure like another Waki without a long wait :p
 
I expect you'll probably have more difficulty than normal due to the proximity of both Knob Creek and Blade. However, I suspect the Ruck would probably be easier to sell right now.

A lot depends on what you want them for. As implied by its name, a Ruck would be easier to carry attached to a light pack. However, if you aren't hiking with it, and are focused on chopping power, then you'll want to keep the Waki.
 
The Waki would probably be easier to replace but the ruck is worth twice as much.

Right, its an accomplishment in itself that I own the ruck to begin with.

Well, I have a NMFBMLE that handles all chopping. The ruck/waki is primarily meant for all machete uses. Yard use, brush, branches... etc.

Damn you... I do. I'm literally all out of "toys" I can recycle into other toys though.

You can always sell plasma :-)

JK. The waki will probably be easier to replace later, but the ruck will bring you more money now. So depends on how much the new toy is going to cost IMO...
 
I would keep the Ruck without hesitation. In fact, if I had to decide between keeping a Ruck or an AK I would keep the Ruck.

This is very close to fishing for sales outside the exchange. Even if it wasn't the intent of the original poster, it will have that effect and therefore it will be locked. Similar posts by previous forum members have been locked for this and to be fair so shall this one.

Any one who wants to give general advice take it to pm or email.
