One Busse Debate With Buddy

Hey guys and gals,

Having a debate with a buddy right now.

If you were only able to buy one Busse fixed blade to fill your needs, general purpose through collection, what would it be?

I've only got a Busse ASH-1 CG with Rainwalker Leather Sheath, and I think it's awesome. However he is stating that the TGLB is the best. Which one would you guys choose out of the two? ASH or TGLB? Or which other model?

From one public safety guy to another (whos also up at 3am) id say out of those 2 options, the tglb is more versatile. As far as collecting, depends on what kind of ash you have, cut, grips ect....
 
Oh geez... I love my TGLB, but every time I see a picture of an ASH I start drooling...
 
That's funny you guys tht are mentioning other models are mentioning the NMFSNO. Because that was one that was just crossing my mind as a great one-Busse knife!!

Sorry no pictures as we don't have them with us, but I'll try to at least get mine posted later!
 
I think I'd go Hellrazor, don't have one, but it seems like the perfect size to me. Will pick one up when I can.

To your ? of choosing an ASH or TGLB I would take the TGLB any day.
 
General purpose through collection? I'd probably have to say one of the Hood knives or a Steel Heart in ATS-34
 
Of the many models I've had and used including the FSH's of various thicknesses, NMSFNO and TG(original) not the TGLB ,but I did hold a TGLB once and I thought it was too light for my needs, I have sold all of them and have kept my fat ASH-1 CG for my all a rounder. It has the most comfortable handle out of all of them for me and the balance is perfect. I would say the ASH-1 would be a much more versatile knife at least for my uses and needs in general.
 
The ASH-1 CG is the one I regret selling. I could see it being a very nice all around knife. But I am also a fan of the TGLB. I don't think you could go wrong either way. I'm just glad I'm not restricted to one ;)
