If you were to only have or keep one Busse what one represents the brand the best. I'm looking to shrink my collection to just a few 10 max knives. I'd like to have 1 Busse in those 10 knives I'm keeping. I'm thinking the big chopper 6"+. Is that the kind of knife that put Busse on the map? I was looking at Nmsfno (can some one tell me what it stands for?) or somthing along those lines.

I have a Sar 3 that I'll be selling. I've owned a few kin knives (Ratmandu, HRLM and Swap Warden) which I liked but not enough to keep them. I've eyed the Game Warden because I like smaller edc sized blades but couldn't bring myself to buy one.

What do you guys think?

Nuclear Meltdown Special Forces Natural Outlaw.

As for just one...well, I can't choose just one so I'll let others try to narrow the field for ya. :D

A Mistress would be my choice.:thumbup:

I think if you were to have only one, it should be between 5-8inches and the NMSFNO is a good pick...Tankbuster is another all a-rounder, SAR-8, SAR-6 will do...

Just ONE Busse? It is an untested theory, never put in actual practise.

Which ONE knife do you want to trust your life to, have the best edge retention, while beating the bejeepers out of it?

In reality, I get little use out of my midrange knives at the moment. I really use the ones small enough for EDC or large enough to be great choppers. HHFSH and bigger, but YMMV.

Well, I'd say that there are many other options in the sub-8" range, but Busse's heavy duty choppers are unsurpassed. Maybe snag an AK, or a Ruck? Can fill roles from a big fighter to a wood processor to a hedge/zombie trimmer. Or the KZII. Of course any mistress would excel as a chopper.
The NMSFNO will work in the role, but that's the smallest I would take for my sole INFI user.
YMMV

Any model that doesn't have lumpy handles or a choil... I guess that leaves the Boss Jack!

Seriously? The lumpy handles are bad, so avoid any model with them. That eliminates at least half of all the models (fusion, sf, etc).

The choil isn't really that bad on some models. You clearly don't need one on anything with a blade smaller than about 10", so that leaves the mistresses, the ruck, the AK, and a few rare customs.

Exclude the lumpy mistresses and that leaves you with the Bushwacker and the original SHBM (the former of which are tolerably lumpy - the latter aren't very lumpy at all).

You don't need a Ruck or an AK because their after-market prices are higher than their use value.

So, I'll restate my recommendation to include the Bushwacker, which isn't overpriced beyond its possible use value... yet.

Ah, screw it. Just get the Boss Jack while it's cheap. It's probably the best you'll find and the price isn't half bad... yet.

What's funny here is I agree with Jaxx. I use other knives: BWM, FBM, AD etc., but the NMSFNO is the most versatile.

+1 on any of these choices and possibly add the ASH 1 (LE or skinny would be my preference) even though a little thinner at the spine still a fine knife that will do a lot of different chores well.

Here are some you might consider

My Favorite was the NMSFNO with hand shaped handles and green Blade

Tough question.

Love my CABS, love my KZII, Love my Basic 11, love the SARSquatch, I EDC my BAD every day (if it was choil less I would love it even more).

I am sure the Muck will have an instant place in the kitchen!

It all depends on what role you need filled.

I do believe that Infi, to really appreciate it's strength, shines in larger choppers.

I just don't use my smaller knives hard enough to even worry about it (much......ok, so occasionally with my small ones I use them harder than I would use a similar knife from other companies).

I would probably do a version of the Mistress, or maybe my KZII as the big chopper.

As for what represents the brand best... the logo knife is an HHFSH or Saber Fusion Steel Heart as they sometimes get called. But any of the Battle Mistress' would probably be just as often identified.

CGFBM's and FSH's are pretty darn sweet. But so are the Nuclear Meltdowns, the SAR's, and everything else. Picking the one can change with the weather... or the next release.

One Busse?
My first impulse is NMSFNO.

I also agree that INFI shines in bigger blades. For me that ends at about 8". Any bigger and I grab a machete or an axe....but only because the B11 isn't a B/14-16, and there's no 14-16" Mistress I can afford....MOABs all seem to be too pretty to use.
