No! Can it be? Another Umnumzaan thread? Yes. Yes it is. All of this recent "buzz" about the Umnumzaan 'caused me to pick one up off the exchange from Biginboca. I wanted to check it out myself. I realized that the "quick looks" at a store and show weren't enough to fully "understand" this knife. This was an excellent, trouble free transaction. Knife came in just as described. to Biginboca.
Here's a true-to-the-art Q&D of the Umni along with my 21 and also another one of today's arrivals - a PM2.
What's my opinion of the Umni? I like it. I feel like this knife needed to be produced by CRK as it offers plently of characteristics differentiating it from the Sebenza. I believe one thing: I think an individual could easily get used to the original design of this knife without prompting the feature implementation that we see on most recent variant of this piece. I'm in a phase of "catch and release" right now, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it or move onto some other pieces I want to try out.
But, to those who are on the fence about trying one out? Do it. It's worth it.
