I've been having a great deal of back problems and haven't been able to spend any time in the shop for a while. I was working on this fighter when my back gave out and I've been eager to get back to the shop ever since to finish it up before it rusted away. ;) Finally I got going again on Monday.
OAL 15 1/4" with a 9 1/4" blade, w-2 clay coated, W pattern hardware and Ironwood handle.
Its going to be my first trip to Atlanta with a table 16 -Q-B, even though its only a 1/2 table I'm really excited about it, come by and say hello.

Thanks for looking,

Bill

Great looking fighter, Bill! I like it! Glad you are feeling like working in the shop again. Those back problems are a pain in the.....well.....back!

Liking the looks of that ironwood handle...bet it feels good in hand. Hope to see more work soon!

Love the almost bird's head handle. In fact, the whole knife has beautiful lines and proportions. The materials are outstanding. Great knife.

back problems totally suck:grumpy:
Take it easy, Bill, let that back heal up. Do you ride a bicycle? I've talked with lots of folk who've suffered like you that have really benefited from getting back on a bike.
Besides, I know someone who has a bike shop and a fondness for your knives...:D
Just flappin- have a great show, m'man!

Awesome! Good design, great flow, nice hardware, looks like ergonomic handle
Always admire your work Bill :D
Hope success for you in Atlanta :)

Thank you all for the nice comments, it was good to finally get back to the shop. I just wish I could have captured a more detailed picture.
Back problems aren't good anytime but 2 months before Blade really isn't good. I told my wife come hell or high water we were going to Atlanta, even if I had to ride streched out and tied to the hood of the car, so if you see a car with a guy tied to the hood like a fresh killed deer running around Atlanta in a month, honk and wave I'd appreciate it. ;) :)

Thank you,

Bill

Glad to hear you're feeling better and congrats on a fine fighter - very well done indeed.

Beautiful knife and it is good to hear you are better.

I can not wait to see it in a few weeks and hope to see you still improving.

Sweet knife Bill! I hope that you are feeling better soon! Unfortunately, I will not be going to Atlanta. :(
