Here is a damascus fighter I will be bringing to Blade show. Steel is 1084 and 15n20, fittings are copper and NS, handle is blister curl maple w/silver wire inlay. Let me know what you think good or bad.
Thanks for looking.
Mace

That is one gorgeous handle, man! Love the shape and flair at the end! Also love the use of copper and its texturing!

Very cool. I like the starbust on the butt.

Mace - that is gorgeous. One of the prettiest handles I have seen.

Mace-man,

Your stuff just gets better and better. Excellent choice for handle material, and the inlay is simply superb. I'll be picking your brain at Blade on technique for inlays.

See you there........... Robert

i want to do wood handles just like that!!! Skills man, can't wait for blade. oooohhhh it's getting close now

Likewise.....I was so scared to try it on my ST 24 clone that I let myself run out of time so I had an excuse not to do the wire inlay or the wooden sheath liner before Blade...lol.;)

Thanks very much guys!:D

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention...I call this one the "Creole spitfire".

Thanks again for taking the time to look and comment.

Beautiful over all. The maple and inlay are simply spectacular and the butt inlay is inspired.
Love the damascus too.

I like the texturing of the copper but am not as fond of the way the spacers are squared off.
Maybe it works better in person, or maybe it's just my lack of taste :)

Looks great Mace. I love that damascus. Can't wait to grip this one, looks lie it fills the hand real nicely

Great Artistry Mace! I'm betting this one will be sold before the doors open to the public.
If that's the case, maybe you could ask the new owner if you could display it for the duration of the show. You just never cease to amaze me.
