Goose had me work on one of his buck 110's, a cabelas edition. I know ya'll will probably have my head for not taking more progress pics, but I forgot :p . Anyway, here is what it stands at. Just for the record, I tried to filework the CPM154 blade with the bos heat treating, that was a joke, the hardest blade I have ever laid a file to. A brand new file would not scratch it, just slid accross like glass, so that idea had to be abandon. More pics when finished.

Specs,
CPM154 cabelas 110
red liners and spacer
modified vine filework
jigged asain buffalo horn.

Looking good....you should have scared him and put the Schrade scales
laying on your bench on it instead of the nice jigged Buffalo.:D

Thanks Musky. It's FANTASTIC!!!!

I was just showing my wife the pics of the work in progress.
BIG MISTAKE!!!!

As I was typing the sentence above, she asked, "I just wonder since you joined those guys, how much have you spent on Bucks?".

I told her what you quoted me and she was surprised it was that inexpensive for such skilled work (I agree...but not complaining!!!)

She just asked me again, "How much have you spent on Bucks?".
Some questions just don't warrant an answer.
There is a reason I have my own checking/paypal account ;)

haha.

I'm glad you like it gooser.

Sometimes it's best to keep things to yourself :).

Play dumb my friend. respond with the question" what bucks? I don't see any bucks?" :D

WOW!! Very nice!!!
I love that filework!!!
Thanks for the pics.

Man.........Thats a cool looking 110 .great work muskrat.

Good luck with your answer to the wife.Goose.;)

Jeff

Thanks all, your feedback is greatly appriciated. Now let's see if the goose approves once it's in hand :)

Musky...
It is absoultely beautiful.

Showed Mrs. Goose...she said that is the first 110 that I have that impressed her. She's ("we") still amazed at your talent Muskrat Man.
She has asked me twice when I am going to get her one.
Thinking "maybe" a 112.

But, I'm thinking that is a way's off.
My next knife may be the Elkie Bummer from my "Stag Coloring" thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4670314&postcount=1

Great job Kaleb.
Thanks...

Yep, it's the 110BP CPM154.

You are one quick bunny!!! ;)

The original plan was for me to send in a 110AG.
Then I changed my mind.
Didn't want the red liners to clash with the yellow and white AG logo.
I do have an eye for fashion and color coordination.
Never wear my white boots after Labor Day.

Truely,a work of art,i'd love to send you a regular 110 for your custom filework and a new handle,do you do work for anyone ,or just friends and such?
