One for Gundy(The stag lovin Bastid)

One of my favorite bowies, from one of the nicest and most talented ABS Mastersmiths(deceased now), Donald G. Lange.

This bowie has an 11" blade of ladder pattern damascus consisting of W2 and N203E, but I am unsure of how many layers. All fittings; guard, collar and buttcap are also damascus. Big honkin, round chunk of stag for the handle. Typical Lange fit and finish; meaning that you really cannot note anything one would consider a flaw. Grinds are as good as can be, press fit guard is nice and tight, etc...

My wife has instructions to lay this across my chest in my coffin when I die.

Guy (Gundy) isn't the only one around here that loves stag. It has become my favorite handle material. It looks great on this spectacular knife. This knife looks like it has excellent balance. The pattern on that steel is very nice as well.

Good one Racer Roy... my $150 is in the mail. That sure is one beautiful knife. And for the record... Gundy and Keith and Phil aren't the only stag knuts here. I just added #2 stag handled knife to my collection, and will add more.
This is one incredible knife: gorgeous damascus and top notch stag. Danbo sure is one lucky guy.

There is more profit in renting shovels than selling them. You guys are all out of luck. Danbo bought all of my maps for $17, a couple of bowies and a nice stag hunter with a Kenny Rowe sheath.
