8-10 ounce leather - skived to about 6 ounce in the inside pocket. Light Brown Feibrings stain with a little black mixed in for the edges with two coats of Montana Pitch Blend.

I just need to handle a firesteel for the knife. Likely I will do something in Birdseye Maple.

Comments always welcome.

I think your pinecones are getting dusty, though:D

The firesteel loop on the dangler came from Marcelo Cantu. I am not sure if it was his idea - but he PM'd me an image of one and I loved the idea. Wish it was mine - but it was not.

Wow! That is another awesome piece of work. As others have already said, I really like the firesteel loop and detail work on the dangler. I enjoyed your write-up on the knife also in the other thread.

I am still waiting for John Doyle to re-handle my BRK Canadian Camp knife. When that gets back, I'll get in line for one of your sheaths. Great work!

I like the shield design of the stitching on the back of the dangler. Classy.

Sweet sheath for a sweet knife Tal! I'm curious...why bird's eye maple instead of matching box elder burl?
