Here's one I'll have at the Chesapeake show in a couple of weeks. 3/16x1 1/2" D2. Convex grind, heat and cryo treated. Impala jigged Buff horn, 5/32 brass pins. All comments welcome. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a fine working knife. Just my style! Say, can you give me your reasons for using D2 over say, O1 or A2? And for reference, what price would you put on this one?

Thanks,
Warrant

Thanks, I really like the way D2 has been working out for me. It's a steel that's been around and has proven itself over time. I've sold alot of knives made with this steel and they have proved worthy of sticking with it. O-1 and A2, I'm sure are good steels but I just like D2 better. With the high chromium content, D2 is almost stainless. For straight carbon steel knives, I like 5160 because it's so easy to grind. I don't think it's appropiate to state prices here so I'll send you a message.

Looks good. I look forward to seeing you and the knife there. Tess, Danny and I will be there for the show and the VIP deal. Are you going to be there for the "night before"?

Looking good Scott. I like the handle texture!! Good luck at the show.

I will also be at the VIP, please introduce yourself. I will be the big guy with the funny haircut.

I look forward to seeing you guys there Sat. night. It'll be nice to hang out with folks I know and new folks I know from the forums but, haven't actually "met" yet. Should be fun. I'll be the goofy looking guy with the ponytail, good looking wife and a 1 1/2 year old kid.....what a crew. :D
