gunyon and Derek have their breakfast battle, and rogue is our resident sandwich maker which covers lunch which is all well and good. But me? I'm a dinner guy. The bk14 hasn't had much work as of late and the bk5 is currently indisposed in a vice so I let it help me cook dinner. Tennessee honey pork chops with lemon zest and tennessee honey tilapia on top, topped with a cooper sharp sauce. I was just kinda experimenting and created a masterpiece.
Jack Daniels tennesee honey, water, vinegar, oil, lemon zest and a bunch if spices for the marinade. For both the pork and tilapia. Cooper sharp cheese, cream, and butter for the cheese sauce. Pretty simple but mind blowing flavor. I love that tennesee honey.
Also the 14 came away with a nice patina. Bon appetit

And because the cook sure as hell doesn't clean in my house, here's dessert. The perfect after dinner mint

I missed the bk5 in the kitchen although the 14 performed very well as expected.

Looks good buddy. I use a bourbon, maple syrup and mayo mix sauce for griilling a lot. I will try your recipe

Not a fan of fish, especially not tilapia... but that sauce looks pretty damn good on them chops sir... And I'm always a fan of using alcohol when cooking. Sometimes I put it in the food even!

Neither is my wife. She doesn't touch any of it. Except lobster. Then all of a sudden shes a huge fan. I made hers without just the fish. It just wasn't as photogenic :D

I've only had seafood 4 times that I can remember. I had lobster in maine, I had salmon in alaska, I had mahi-mahi in hawaii, and I had crab in baltimore... Other than when it is super fresh (caught right about when it's made) I don't eat it. And since I'm not near any good fishing places (live in the middle of down town, and I'm NOT fishing in the mississippi) I just don't eat it that often.

Plus there is something about eating a fish bred for eating the poop out of a fish tank that doesn't appeal to me. Same reason I don't like mushrooms, or black pepper, something about eating a fungus that I just can't get behind.

I'll take a couple servings of the 4th pic.

Also digging the pic of your wife in your sig! :p

I shy away from honey in my likker...had a bad trip with Wild Turkey with Honey once. blah..That memory made me un-hungry

Looks like a great recipe Clich!

Love the combo of brussel sprouts, tilapia and pork. Strong work!

Looks good, clich. I'm glad you just gave me a way to utilize my bottle. I sure as heck can't drink that stuff. :p
I even froze it as Murph suggested, but it just doesn't square with my tastes. I can drink black label like water though.

I am absolutely going to try that recipe.

That looks good and I'm not even hungry. The brussels sprouts are slingshot ammo though.
