I hope whomever winds up with this has some fun with it.
I forged this out of some heavy stock 1095 in the "Brut de Forge" style.
The blade has a nicely forged in distal taper, as well as the full tang handle giving it a nice centered weight.
The blade was hardened with the clay process for a groovy little hamon.
Now, than handle was firstly wrapped with flat, black cord. "Tack-welded" here and there with epoxy to keep it in place.
This was then cord wrapped with 550 Paracord that is called "Desert Sand".
No protective coating is used.
It grips very nicely.
And, there's about 20 feet of paracord for emergency use.
When the material gets boring, blood stained from fighting your way through throngs of enemies, or simply dirty, un-wrap and create your own new and unique handle design!
Will get a pouch sheath with a concho.

Love the blade shape. I know if I took that Paracord off I would never get it back as nice.

I'm only about 2 hours from the Ohio show. I'm hoping to make it there.

Edit: I just seen your sig line. Now that's funny!
