My wife is a Girl Scout leader and needed a knife for camp this summer. This is my second completed knife. Next project is a sheath to go with. 1095 and maple. Made on a grizzly. Free hand no jigs.

That is a nice job for a second knife.

Tell us a bit about the knife - blade size, total length, grind, steel thickness, planned use, etc..

In the photo, it looks like a single side bevel (flat back side), at a high angle. The style looks like one designed for piercing/stabbing, not cutting. Also, what are the rivets made from?

Pins look like oak , first time I have noticed wooden pins on a knife

5/32" 1095
OAL: 7 7/8".
Blade length: 3 3/4".
The swage is really only there for looks.
Pins are in fact 1/4" oak dowel.
As far as use is concerned, will mostly be used for light duty tasks such as cutting some 550 cord or maybe fashoning a marshmallow roasting stick. Some more pics included to show other side and the grind. Scandi grind. Not sharpened yet so it will have a secondary bevel later.
