One from Grandad.

The knife in this picture was given to me when I was about 7 years old by my grandfather, My parents tucked it away for safe keeping (hehe) anyway I know it is not a work of art or anything of great value to anyone, other than me because my grandfather gave it to me, but I was hoping someone might reconize the style or make and be able to give some info on it, there are no markings on it anywhere, the knife is very used so i am sure that blade markings on it are just worn off, I am guessing the knife is somwhere around 45 years old give or take 10 years, based on my age and when it was given to me,

Hi, & Welcome,

Your knife was made by either Imperial, or Colonial. My guess is Imperial, as it is a bit handsomer than your usual Colonial's. Everyone I have seen were marked U.S.A. , or just unmarked.

People sometimes like to rag on Imperial, and Colonial, but these were nice little knives.

Ill get a post over there about it, and it is a nice little knife, like iv'e said it's been used so its def not in new condition.
