Not the Classic, actually. I have a Rambler, and I'm thinking maybe I can put a quick and dirty thumb stud on the knife blade by sandwiching the base of the blade between a couple of screw nuts, on a tiny screw. The screw head will function as the thumb stud.

I know. It's pretty lame. I'm hoping you guys could help me with a better idea.

You would probably be better served with one of those mini-keychain lockbacks they sell at gas stations and hardware stores as impulse items. They're acrtually designed around being one hand openable.

WHAT?!?! CCC stuff? :grumpy:

;) I'd go for a SPyderco Jester or Ladybug 3, around $20, but much better steel, very fast opening, and there cute.

I carry a Vic classic on my keychain, I'm not a total infidel- just cheap. Actually, the Spydercos are nice, I almost bought a Ladybug. In the past, did use one of the Jaguar hardware store knives on my keychain, and it did a dandy job for being a $2 knife.

I always rely on good stuff for the big stuff- lately I've been carrying Benchmade Pica, Sog Powerlock, Wenger SI, etc...
