One-handed opening/closing Spydecard?

heya,

I just purchased a Spydercard off eBay (seconds, I believe), and it just case in a box with no manual or paperwork.

Anyway, this is probably a stupid question, but how exactly do you open the blade one-handed?

I've figured out that I can stick my finger in the whole on one hand, grasp the body with my other hand, and just unfold it with both hands. However, I was told there was a way to open it with this special Spyderco hole with just one hand?

Also, what's the best way to close it. I've figured out that you have to press on the funny bar thing, then fold it closed, but this is a two-handed operation. Is there a one-handed way of doing it?

Thanks,
Victor

To open it one-handed, lay the Spydercard across your fingers, locking bar down, opening hole outward, and put the tip of your thumb in the opening hole. Press your fingertips against the card, pushing it against the base of your thumb, and rotate the blade out.

To close it one-handed, lay the Spydercard on your last three fingertips, blade edge outward, put your thumb in the hole over the locking bar and push it, and use your index finger against the back of the blade to push it partly closed. Once it is out of the locked position, use your thumb to push it all the way closed.

The knife has to be tip-up
hold the blade at the hole with thumb and second finger

and simply shake the grip down.

This will work with most Spydies :D
