Has anyone bought one of these or handled one? Please let us know what you think of the piece. I see that there selling for about $27.00 and I was thinking of getting one.
Thanks,

Got one back in December. Overall not a bad knife.
Bit of an odd design. Based on the liner lock design and the chisel grind, it appears to be intended for left-handed users.
The serrations are rather small but I like the fact that they are at the tip rather than at the base like must combo edged blades.
Biggest thing I dislike about the knife is that no matter how much I clean and lubricate it, I can't get the action any easier. It takes a lot of effort to open it one-handed. Actually, the spyder-hole makes it really easy to open two-handed, much easier than the normal SAK with the nail-nick.

One big advantage is that it is super sheeple friendly for a locking blade. I tend to use it for public activities where I want a locking blade but don't want a lot of people taking notice.

For under 30 bucks, I think it is a fair buy.

This made a big spash on the forums end of last year.
Do a search for "one handed SAK" and you should be able to find a bunch of material. I don't have any photos but if you do the search you probably should be able to find a few.

I'd provide a link in this post but my skills aren't up to that level yet. Hope this helps:D

Got one as soon as they came out. Kinda funky design as noted, but still very useful. Wish it had a pocket clip and one of the safety blades seen on other models. Any idea how hard it would be to drill and tap for a clip? I been trying to talk myself into epoxying a clip on one of the scales, but foresee a kludgy, weak mess.

I haven't had mine for long enough to give it much of a workout, but so far I like it. My only gripe is that I wish it had scissors instead of the saw blade. :)

Does anyone know why Victorinox doesn't like to combine scissors with locking blades?

My guess is that it's so they can sell you two knives instead of one;)
Seriously, they have added scissors to their Swiss Tool line. I think the X indicates scissors. Maybe we should start a poll to see who would by a "one-handed" SAK with scissors? I would buy one.

Thanks Bob! I like that blade style. I'm not a fan of Zytel, but this look very cool. The price is definitely right.

I searched everywhere and couldn't find a pic. The ones fromt the posts in 10/01 were gone. Who's selling these?

Brandon

I agree, scissors would top this piece off nicely. Thanks for the Pics, a very nice looking sheeple friendly knife.
Thanks,
