whew...that was one hell of a busy week. I am preparing for my first international knifeshow which will be in Paris on the 2.nd and 3rd October. I will mainly bring folders. I started Monday and this is the result so far....gonna make at least just as many more. What you see is Amok, Kaos, Rebel and Rocklobster folders. Mixed with both linerlocks and framelocks. Still need about an hours work on the Rocklobsters. Drill some holes etc....will be done tonight..........next week will be for Gekkos, Mini Rocklobster, Mini Amoks and some new designs too...

Well, that's about three years of work for this Dave... Cripes Jens you must not take a break. Great work! I can't wait to see them finished either. Please keep us posted with finished knives and the results of your show. Good Luck!

sleep is overrated... :)

Did some work on six more today...I can´t wait for them to get back for heattreat...thats will be some sight...! :)

If I could make folders that'd be 6 lifetimes for me! :D Sheesh! I suppose having the right tools and templates helps a lotl, but still, getting the locks to work right, getting the holes drilled and reamed and tapped, finishing, etc. Crazy!

Well second week is over. Here is the total result. ...43 total. Tommorow I will grind bevels and have them sent of to heattreat Tuesday....I must say that I am quit satiesfied with the result. Note the smaller version of my Amok...(the largest)..the "mini" version still has almost 5" blade.. :D

This is very imprssive. One man production factory, yet still paying close attention to detail.

I wouldnt go as far as call my self a production factory...hard work thats all :) I did find out though that making 4-6 of the same model at a time was a great timesaver. Doing the same procedure for a ahndfull of knives does not take much longer than doing it for one. I will continue to work with my folders like this for sure...maybe not 43 folders in a row but do 5-6 of the same model each time I start grinding...

 ahhhh that's a nightmare in progress for me...
way too tedious for me,, that many at a time, if that's the right word for it  :) great job, I too want to see them when finished :D
