Just got this in the mail today.

When the TB went up on the site I was doing a lot of travelling back and forth between Philadelphia (where I live now) and Nova Scotia (where I grew up) because my father had a heart attack, and then passed away. When I got back home and saw the TB, I emailed Amy to ask about getting something special done to my TB. Right away she said no problem, and thanks Amy and Jerry for making this one for me, here is my TB.

I only had time today to take a quick pic with my cell, but I will get more pics later... This one is really special to me.

I got out my regular camera and took some better pics, here they are.

AH!(GASP) (I LOST MY Dad IN 2005)

The etching is very cool!

I am sorry for your loss Dwaine.

(SPEECHLESS)

What a great way to remember your Dad. I'm sure he was smiling too when you received it.

Sorry about your dad. :( I hope that every time you look at that knife, it will remind you of the good times you had together.

That is a great thought.

My condolences about your father.

Sorry for your loss brother.

May loved ones, time, and friends help ease your pain.

Cool blade.

Just wish my dad would have been around when I found Busse....

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I like the knife with the remembrance etch. I have been looking into doing the same on a spyderco for my mother she passed 3 years ago ,she was the one who got me my first spyderco and Busse knife.I have thought it would be a fitting honor as I wouldn`t be carrying a knife if it wasn`t for her. I feel for you brother.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. The remembrance is great, since it is personal and it suits you. Some people don't understand the way we remember folks at times. I had my dad cremated with his remote control, since he could never keep up with it. I am sure that somewhere he got a kick out of that, and then started fussin' that the channels are different and it won't work where he is at (that is how he was.)

That is a wonderful knife and I know that you will cherish it for a long time to come.

Thanks Everyone.

Here are some pics from a few years back on a trip to Labrador for a caribou hunt.

Sorry your Dad passed Dwaine, my Dad passed on in 1999 and I have a small folding knife that was his. Looks like you had some great times with him.
