Ok. Here is one that I have been hording that I got off a very fine gentleman in Oregon. He has many of this makers pieces and I covet every one of them :D .

This is a piece by Ken Steigerwalt that employs blacklip pearl scales, Devin Thomas Twist Damascus blade, Stainless/carved bolsters and fileworked backlock, backspacer and liners.. This has to be one of my favorites that are in my posession. It will probably stay in my posession as well for the forseeable future.

I like everything about this knife except, I personally would prefer that the pattern on the damascus be more subdued.

The package as a whole is gorgeous. The blade, filework ,handle material etc. all comes together complementing each other. It flows.

Yep, that's a keeper. Simply extrordinary!
Superb work and materials. Ken is something else!
I too would have preferd a tight ladder damascus, but what
it has is incredible also!

Thanks for the peek!;)

Frank:cool:

I think a tight ladder would also have been more complementary for the whole package Frank. Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, the person that I traded to for this was only willing to give this one up out of his large collection of Steigerwalts. I was glad to get it!!!!

But, I know I will be talking to Ken in Atlanta and will definately be getting more from him (either there or through an order).

This is definately a keeper in my book. I couldn't even think of letting this one go without at least 5 more on hand  ..

Thanks for the comments everyone.
