I've read this forum for a couple of years and gotten alot of good information, so I thought I would start sharing some of what that good advice has allowed me to make. I haven't sharpened this one yet, I tend to get ahead of myself and photograph them before that step is done, now it's a habit lol.

Stock Removal
Blade Composition: 5160, 15n20, ni200 (acquired from Alabama Damascus)
Handle Material: Desert Ironwood and Green G10 Liner
Hardened to approximately 60 HRC. (I don't have a real deal rockwell tester, but the 60 HRC file barely marked it, and the 55 HRC file didn't leave any mark at all)

I heat treat in a propane forge with something like a muffle tube, I say something like because it's a little more complex than just a steel tube with one end closed stuck in there. Quenched in parks AAA.

This one was something like 22 inches in overall length, It was alot bigger than what I usually make so I had to improvise with my kydex press, so it isn't as tight as I would of liked.

Blade Material: 1084
Handle Material: Layered Black and Blue G10
Hardened differentially approximately 60HRC on the edge.
I tried to get some pictures where the hamon it had showed but the natural light didn't really wanna comply

Beautiful work . Good-looking wood too.

It looks like a very useful daily-carry knife. I particularly like the flat-sided handles. I don't see that very often and I think it makes your knife stand out. Typically what I see is rounded/blended handles (nothing wrong with those, but I also like flat-sided :)).

This is not a critique, but if it were mine (if I were going to carry it), I'd want a nice leather sheath. I think some nice leather would really compliment the wood handles.

Thank you, I just recently started doing leather as well, I have a little more practice to do before I'm happy with it. I've just been using kydex since I started, just as a consequence of needing something to stick the knife in, but I prefer leather myself. I've just put off learning for all this time.

I uploaded a photo of a knife with one of my first leather attempts here.

That leather sheath looks pretty good to me. Heck, if that's only your second one, I'm sure the ones you produce in the future will be pretty impressive.

Keep up the good work. The world can't have too many nice custom knives (and sheaths) :) .

By the way, your kydex works looks pretty impressive as well.

Thank you all so very much, I just added some photos and details of another one to my original post.

Nice work, looks like quality stuff! Only thing I’d nitpick is I’d prefer a slimmer profile of a taco style sheath. But indeed, well done.

Very nice work. Have you been to the Sheaths and Such sub forum here on BF? Lots of folks there that can help ya pick up the leather game. Couple of suggestions on the first knife pictured if interested.

I tried making a taco style once and it was a disaster and I haven't tried since. That was before I had a legitimate press though, so I'll probably revisit that notion.
