One in the works, Handle material?

Here is an integral hunter that I have roughed out and close to being ready to heat treat. I wanted to ask what type of handle material you think would look best. I am kind of leaning toward some stag. It's got a four inch blade of D2 steel. Opinions requested.

I vote for Desert Ironwood, or maybe some nice stabilized burl....but I vote for those on just about everything
