... I always told myself that I could stop at "just one" with the various things I've started collecting over the years... Wilson Combat 1911's, Watches, Knives, etc. Rarely, if ever, does it work out that way as I'm sure most of you know. In this case, I thought "I'll be fine with my one Chris Reeve Small Sebenza Insingo." I bought it earlier in the year (and carry it daily). Yeah... about that... so, I am pleased to share I will have my second Chris Reeve incoming after the first of the year. I found some photos from a thread on here that shows pretty much exactly what I picked up. Thanks d.r.h. for the spectacular photos of this Small Sebenza. I'll be sure to take photos of my own when she arrives and share them with you all. Until then, have a happy New Year everyone!

Lookin' good! But for minute there, I thought I was having yet another senior moment .... I thought I sold another knife I completely forgot about selling! ;) Can't wait to see pics of yours when it arrives. Snakewood is a beautiful inlay.

Thanks! :) I found these photos of yours yesterday in the Sebenza thread and went "WOW!". That will be the new Sebenza I buy. Just so happens I found one at a dealer and pulled the trigger. Can't wait! Thanks again for the use of your fantastic photos! -Chad

Congrats. Beautiful!
Wish they would do an Insingo like that...........or at least an inlay of Cocobolo.

This is a reason I put off buying my first, I knew I would love it and just keep spending. I only have 3 but I purchased my first 2 weeks ago.

I can easily see how one will not be enough. My first should be here Friday and can't wait(unique and not typical box elder burl) . With all the various inlays and all the unique grains of each is why I love the inlays so much. It's also how I can see why some of our fellow members have the collections they do.

Now just wait till you get your first mnandi;)

Congrats and can't wait to see the grain on the one you chose.

Yep, you're getting yourself in deep with that one.
One is not enough and 13 is a bakers dozen.

That's a cool blade. If you look at your pattern on the presentation side, it looks like the pottery kilns they used to have lined-up in a row in industrial-revolution era England, or the coking ovens they used many years ago in the US, with smoke coming out the chimneys. Maybe its just my eyes.........happened to have seen a doc on those times recently.

I could not stop laughing when I read this. Awesome...

You have been bit by the CRK bug. For sure.

There is something about CRK Damascus. I want More Of Them....!!! I will have to post a pic of my current crop, though its not many.

Are you being modest, I have seen some of the pics you have posted in older threads.

While there are some nice damascas blades, I have only owned 2 from a different manufacturer, but was always afraid to use them. They moved on to a better home.

I typically go with standard blade finish, but may have to get one for a user one day. Also the pic posted in the OP is unreal and definitely sells these knives:thumbup:

Yes .... there is something nice about snakewood .... combine it with Damascus and it's a winner. Here's a LINK to my trio post which includes the one above. As you can see ... the OP is correct .... one is never enough!!!

very nice trio:thumbup: the only thing I can see from that link that would make it perfect is having the mnandi with ladder damascus or just a different pattern from the other 2, but it is still beautiful!

I think so. Just sold my small to finance a LG 25 micarta. I do know the small is not for me at all. Demascus is now on my radar. :o
